Annual Open House for Admitted Students

9:00am - 4:30pm 

Open House is a unique opportunity for admitted students to learn more about MICA and how it compares to other schools. This is the only on-campus event where you can meet with our nationally renowned faculty representing every studio and liberal arts department. Examples of student art work will be represented throughout campus. Faculty and lab technicians will be available to show you our state of the art facilities and equipment. Student Services representatives will be present to share information about our residential apartment complexes, numerous dining facilities and discuss our extensive student life, career services and study abroad programs. Join us and take a deep dive into what makes MICA great.

Registration is required for Admitted Student Open House.

Annual Open House for High School Sophomores and Juniors 

Sunday, April 7, 2019
9:00am - 3:00pm 

Attend this event specifically geared to high school juniors and sophomores planning their college search! 
Get a Head Start: 
Learn how to create a strong portfolio of artwork, receive helpful tips on finding the right college fit and gain advice on planning a timeline. 

Learn about MICA: Attend a presentation about MICA's programs of study, lunch with staff to discuss financial aid, career services–and more!, tour the MICA campus and meet your admission counselor for an informal Q&A. 

Registration is required for Sophomore/Junior Open House.

Annual Admitted Transfer Day

Sunday, April 28, 2019
9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p. m.

Admitted Transfer Students: Learn why you should choose MICA as the place to prepare for success in the creative economy. Get answers to your questions from Associate Deans and a panel of students who have transferred to MICA. Understand your degree plan, how your academic level is determined and how class registration works. Visit informally with professional staff who will answer questions and tell you more about the services we offer. See examples of art and design created by students who transferred to MICA.

Registration is required for Admitted Transfer Day.
