Steve Meneely

Steve Meneely '99 is an artist and independent animator who grew up in a small village in Central Africa. Prior to this year, he worked as technician and adjunct faculty in the MICA Animation department for 10 years. He has 17 years of experience with working with 3D software, specializing in 3D animation and modeling.

Erinn Hagerty

Erinn Hagerty is a multidisciplinary artist employing animation, film and video, kinetic sculpture and installation, whose work focuses on the ubiquitous and contradictory nature of loss, being both instantaneous and infinite.

Stephanie Williams

Stephanie J Williams is a tinkerer and doodler whose work navigates hierarchies of taste. Williams is an interdisciplinary artist and a DC native. Current themes in her work investigate our complex relationship with food culture, materiality, home and territory, and the subtext of politeness.

Ismael Sanz-Pena

Ismael Sanz-Pena is an animaton filmmaker currently living in Baltimore, MD. After receiving his Postgraduate Diploma in Character Animation at Central Saint Martins London he moved to Los Angeles to study Experimental Animation at the California Institute of the Arts. Ismael has since worked on music videos, commercials, promotional videos and independent films across the globe. Among other screenings his work has been exhibited in the National Gallery London, Annecy, Hiroshima, Zagreb, Ottawa and Questors Theatre, the largest community theatre in Europe.

Andrew Keiper

Andrew Paul Keiper is an artist whose work centers on sound, though installation, sound design and music. His recent work addresses themes including the legacy of nuclear weaponry, race and white supremacy in Baltimore, and the frontier between sound art and experimental music.

Lorraine Darrow is an award-winning screenwriter and director. She is regularly invited by the Animation department as a guest speaker and consultant for senior students since 2010.

Jackie Ross is an award winning artist and animator from Baltimore. She has created several personal films, which have won numerous awards. She works at PariMax and teaches animation at MICA.
