The Purchase Request Form allows student organizations to request the purchase of supplies and/or catering from retailers and restaurants that offer online ordering. The Center for Student Engagement will review requests on a weekly basis and submit orders on behalf of student organizations. For complex orders or those that need to be made via phone, please email studentorgs@mica.edu to set up a meeting to make your purchase. 

REQUEST TIMELINE

Purchase Request Forms should be submitted as early as possible in order to guarantee timely review and delivery. A minimum of 2-3 weeks is recommended. The review and order process follows the timeline* below:

  • Purchase Request Forms must be submitted by Sunday at 11:59 PM to guarantee review/order the following week.  
  • All requests received by Sunday will be reviewed by the following Tuesday, and ordered by Friday at the latest.  

*This timeline allows flexibility should CSE have questions or require additional information about your order. We know that things don't always go as planned though. While we cannot guarantee off-cycle requests, send us an email at studentorgs@mica.edu if you need your order expedited and we will do our best to accommodate. 

SHIPPING

  • If ordering supplies, please be sure to consider how long shipping will take and the associated cost. (For Amazon orders, note that the Center for Student Engagement has an Amazon Prime account which will provide free shipping on most products.)
  • Given current MICA's current remote operations, items can be shipped to personal addresses. International shipping will be accommodated if/when possible. Please feel free to email studentorgs@mica.edu to discuss.
