Students who wish to stay in residence over the break will have three options to choose from listed below:

1. December 16 - 30, 2018 at a cost of $360.00
2. December 31 - January 18, 2019 at a cost of $360.00
3. All FOUR weeks discounted at a cost of $600.00 (a savings of $120)

**Please note, if you stay for ANY part of a session, you will be charged the entire amount of that session.  Strict adherence to move out dates and times will be followed and exceptions will not be made.  Students may be required to move to a different location temporarily during their stay. Students who are required to move will be notified separately. 

Applications for winter break housing are available here, and are due no later than November 30th before 11:59pm. Late applications will not be accepted. If changes to your plans have occurred once you have submitted your application, please email residencelife@mica.edu immediately.

Please be aware that during winter break the College will be operating at a reduced capacity. Many offices will have limited resources or will be closed entirely on some dates. Campus Safety will continue to operate 24/7, and while limited, Residence Life staff will also be available. Students staying over winter break should not assume normal access to campus buildings or a normal level of activity on campus. Please see individual offices for information about services during this time.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

• On campus dining facilities will not be open or operating on a limited schedule.
• MICA will not have any shopping or regular shuttles during winter break.
• Housing policies will still be in effect.
• Front desk operations will be limited during this time and we will not be accepting packages. MICA Postal & Print located on the first floor of Bunting will be open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am until 5 pm, however will be closed on scheduled holidays. You can pick up packages at this office during winter break, however MICA Postal & Print does not accept packages that need to be refrigerated.  If you order groceries during this time it will be your responsibility to be at the front desk of the residence hall to retrieve these items. If you are leaving campus for winter break and would like to forward your mail please do so by completing a change of address form with the United States Postal Service. Change of address forms can be found at our Postal & Print Office located on the ground floor of Bunting.
