Special Events For Admitted Students

Freshman Early Admitted Student Day
Sunday, February 17th, 2019
9:00am-3:00pm

This special event is the perfect opportunity for admitted freshmen and their parents to get a firsthand preview of the MICA community. Enjoy a complimentary brunch while viewing our admission presentation and interacting with a panel of current students. Parents: attend an information session about Next Steps and see a presentation from our Office of Career Development. Students: get acquainted with making art in MICA's world class facilities by participating in a hands-on workshop. Then, Parents and Students will learn about MICA's innovative First Year Experience in order to pre-register for first year studio electives. The event concludes with a Student Ambassador- led tour of the highlights of MICA's beautiful and historic campus.  REGISTRATION IS FULL. 

2019 MICA Open House
Sunday, March 31st, 2019 
9:00am - 4:30pm 

Open House is a unique opportunity for freshman and transfer students to learn more about MICA and how it compares to other schools. This is the only on-campus event where you can meet with our nationally renowned faculty representing every studio and liberal arts department. Examples of student art work will be represented throughout campus. Faculty and lab technicians will be available to show you our state of the art facilities and equipment. Student Services representatives will be present to share information about our residential apartment complexes, numerous dining facilities and discuss our extensive student life, career services and study abroad programs.
