From points north:
Take Interstate 95 south to exit 64B, bear right onto Interstate 695 west, Towson. Do not bear left to Baltimore via I-95. Continue on 695 west to Exit 23, Interstate 83 south, Baltimore. Take I-83 to exit 6, North Avenue/Mount Royal Avenue. Stay in left lane of the exit ramp and turn left onto North Avenue. The Fred Lazarus IV Center, which houses the Office of Graduate Admission, is located at 131 West North Avenue, just past the intersection of North Avenue and Howard Street. The Office of Graduate Admission is located at the rear of the 1st floor. The Office of Graduate Admission recommends using street parking (on Maryland Avenue). Visitors can call ahead to arrange for a parking pass.
From points south:
Approach Baltimore on Interstate 95 north, follow Baltimore Downtown signs to Interstate 395. Do not take tunnel exit. Take 395 north and follow for about one-half mile to Inner Harbor/Conway Street exit. Bear right onto Conway Street to Charles Street. Turn left on Charles Street and go about two miles to Mount Royal Avenue (you will encounter the Washington Monument in the center of Charles Street after about 1 mile. Go around the monument and continue straight on Charles Street, which resumes on the other side). Continue on Charles Street to North Avenue. Take a left on North Avenue. The Fred Lazarus IV Center, which houses the Office of Graduate Admission, is located at 131 West North Avenue, just past the intersection of North Avenue and Maryland Avenue. Public Transportation
From Baltimore-Washington International Airport:
Transportation to campus is available by taxi (20 minutes) or Light Rail service (45 minutes). The closest Light Rail stop to the Fred Lazarus IV Center is the North Avenue stop. Exit the station onto North Avenue and turn left and cross the bridge. The Fred Lazarus IV Center is located at 131 West North Avenue, just past the intersection of North Avenue and Howard Street.
From Baltimore Penn Station (Amtrak/MARC/Bolt Bus)
Amtrak provides regular service to Baltimore and often offers a student rate. The MARC train provides weekday commuter connection to Union Station in Washington, DC. The Bolt Bus provides inexpensive transportation between many east coast cities; the bus drops off on St. Paul Street near Penn Station. Penn Station is a five-minute walk from the Fred Lazarus IV Center: exit right out of the front entrance of Penn Station onto Charles Street. Turn right on Charles Street and walk north. North Avenue is approximately 3 blocks north of the station. Take a left on North Avenue. The Fred Lazarus IV Center is located at 131 West North Avenue, shortly after the intersection of North Avenue and Maryland Street.
