MICA's Illustration majors explore a variety of traditional and digital approaches to illustration fostering technical proficiency along with imaginative problem solving and entrepreneurial thinking.
Dolphin Press & Print, which offers students the opportunity to work in collaboration with established artists, writers and printers, is closely tied to the Printmaking and Illustration departments. The Press was designed to promote collaboration in order to produce limited-edition letterpress books and broadsides. Throughout its history, the Press has produced more than 40 such projects in addition to in-house posters and announcements.
