He fell in love with typography while honing his design skills at Addison and Doyle Partners in New York. In 2009 Jason was awarded a Chancellor Fellowship by the Federal Republic of Germany to research and design a new typeface, Enzian, which was awarded a Certificate of Excellence by the Type Directors Club of New York in 2011. Jason has been fortunate to work with a range of clients including, The U.S. Green Building Council, General Mills, The Cooper Union, The Global Fund for Children and Johnson & Johnson. His work has appeared in The New York Times, Wired, and Vanity Fair and has been recognized by the Art Directors Club of New York and Washington, AIGA 50, Communication Arts, PRINT Magazine and the TDC.
