I was born and raised in Miami, Florida and fell in love with Baltimore's seasons, architecture, and flora while studying psychology and writing at Loyola University Maryland. I'm passionate about rock and electronic music - The Contortionist, Hundredth, Animals As Leaders, and Underworld are some of my favorite bands. I also love cars, video games, journaling, sci-fi, living an authentic LGBT+ life, and hearty Hispanic food. After completing my master of arts in Counselor Education at the University of Central Florida, I decided to dedicate my career to student affairs and leadership development.
