Employee Assistance Program & Work-Life

Maryland Institute College of Art realizes that a wide range of personal problems can affect an employee’s work performance. Examples of such behavioral problems include alcohol and/or drug abuse, marital or family distress, and emotional instability. These problems may result in deterioration of job efficiency.

Employee Assistance Program

Talk to a Licensed Professional Counselor to learn coping skills. You may be referred to the appropriate professional for in-depth, long -term help. Your counselor can address:

  • Stress, depression, anxiety
  • Martial relationships, family/parenting issues
  • Anger, grief and loss
  • Drug and alcohol abuse 

Work/Life

The Work/Life specialists find supportive services, check availability and make the referrals to help with:

  • Eldercare, childcare
  • Legal, financial issues
  • Time management
  • Parenting and adoption

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and Work/Life program is a comprehensive program designed to help you lead a happier and more productive life at home and at work. All of us have experienced some type of personal problem, concern or emotional crisis at one time or another. Balancing the needs of work, family and personal responsibilities isn't always easy. The (EAP) and Work/Life program offers the right support at the right time.
