Our Services

The MICA student Health is an outpatient primary health care facility that provides comprehensive medical care for both acute and stable chronic illness, preventative medical care and health education services.

Acute Care Services for Injury and Illness

Feeling Sick? We offer on-site clinical evaluations and rapid in-house testing (results in 10-15 minutes) for a variety of health conditions including COVID, Influenza, Strep throat, Mononucleosis (Mono), and Urinary Tract Infections.

Injured? We evaluate and treat minor injuries such as sprains, strains, falls, skin abrasion, contusions, and minor burns.

Medical procedures: We can perform a variety of medical procedures in the health center including laceration repairs (stitches), drainage of skin abscesses, foreign body removal, Ear wax removal and more.

Primary Care Services

• Routine Physical Exam
• Routine Immunizations
• General medical evaluations and Lab testing
• Medication Refills including ADAH medication refill (click here for more)
• Evaluations and screening exams for a variety of conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, anemia, and STDs

Reproductive and Sexual Health Services

STD (Sexually Transmitted Disease) Testing: We offer comprehensive screening exams, testing and treatment for all MICA students daily, Monday-Friday. Our staff understanding the importance of providing sensitive services to our students in a safe and confidential environment. Click her for more information. Women’s Health

We over women’s health care on Thursdays for students in need of more specialized evaluations including

• Routine annual well-women visiting including Pap smears
• Birth Control Consultation
• Abnormal bleeding/Irregular menses
• Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS)
• Pelvic Pain
• Endometriosis
• Urinary Disorders
• Premenstrual Syndrome
• Breast Health
• STI screening including HPV

Gender Affirming Care Services

Gender affirming care with Lyndsey MacNeil NP is offered at the MICA student Health Center, most Tuesday evenings, from 5pm-7pm.

We understand that no two people have the same goals for themselves and we aim to meet your needs.

Whether you are currently undergoing care and are in need on-going medication support while you are on campus or if you just want to speak with our team to answer your questions, we are here to help.

Gender Affirming Care is by appointment only. Appointments can be made online through the student Medicat portal or by calling the student health center at 410-225-4118

Laboratory Services

The student Health Center offers both On-site and Outside Laboratory lab Services when needed

On-site lab Services: Results in 10-15 minutes

• Glucose testing

Off- Site lab testing: If you need testing for any other medical conditions not listed above, , we will collect the lab specimen in the student health center and send it to LabCorp for testing. You will not need to go off campus for testing. Common send out labs include
