Whidbey Art Lab is a mobile, non-profit art studio and retail space on Whidbey Island, Washington. Founded by best friends Casey Drake and Elizabeth Ashe, their remodeled 80's Winnebago houses retro vending machines stocked with unique, handmade merchandise. The primary materials used to produce merchandise are recycled and second-hand, reflecting the commitment to sustainability. By attending farmers markets and festivals, Whidbey Art Lab aims to engage the local community and tourists with creative activities and responsible consumption practices. With its low overhead and focus on quality over quantity, Whidbey Art Lab is set to become a beloved organization on the island, inviting everyone to help them in “Creating more with less.”
