The safety and health of our entire campus community is of paramount importance.
Mission
To establish and maintain a safe and healthful learning/work environment for our entire campus community and encourage the use of safe work methods and practices at all times.
Safety is the responsibility of everyone at MICA. It is expected that individuals will practice personal accountability by remaining cognizant of safety and health concerns and observing all applicable guidelines and procedures as a part of their normal daily routine.
All students, faculty, and staff are expected to report unsafe conditions and/or situations, and work in a way that promotes the safety and health standards developed and sanctioned by the college.
We urge all members of the MICA community to integrate this mantra into their daily activities, only then will the reduction of risks, exposures, accidents, and injuries become not just an objective; but a part of our culture.
