If you or someone else becomes trapped in an elevator:

• Open the emergency telephone door in the elevator and pick up the phone. You will automatically be connected to the Campus Safety 24-hour Emergency Dispatch.
• Tell the dispatcher what campus building you are in, and the nearest floor.
• Remain calm.
• DO NOT attempt to force the elevator doors open.
