MICA provides a wide range of programs for teens to explore new media and build technical skills. Artistic exploration is among the best ways for youth to build confidence in expressing themselves, learn to solve problems and think critically. High School Studios provide technical instruction and foster exploration to follow their passion for art and design.
High School Studios Overview
High School Studio Courses
High School Studios help students in grades 9-12 get a head start on understanding what colleges are looking for and how to develop a collection of work that stands out. Students in grades 9-12 can bolster their portfolios, learn about new areas of art and design, experiment with new mediums, and gain more experience in one they love.
Weekend Art Classes
Students can add to what they are learning in school by using art to amplify their creative expression. Classes meet on Saturday mornings or afternoons.
Summer Classes
High school students can maximize their summer breaks by engaging in classes in intensive one or two week camp programs.
Programs are available on MICA's main campus (W. Mt. Royal Avenue, Baltimore).
