Katherine currently serves on the MICA HUB Committee. Her daughter, Sydney, received a B.F.A. in Fiber from MICA in 2014.
Originally from Brazil, Katherine was a long-time resident of New York City where she served on the Boards of the Cristo Rey New York High School and the Parents League of New York. She volunteered as a tutor at LSA Health Service and was also an active parent volunteer at the Nightingale-Bamford School for thirteen years.
An MBA/MA graduate of the joint degree program of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) at Johns Hopkins, Katherine worked in finance at Lehman Brothers and Bankers Trust and in strategic planning at American Express.
In 2012 she founded Boa Vista LLC, a real estate investment company, and is now a private investor residing in Tarrytown, NY.
