Jeff Zimon lives with his wife Jill in Cleveland, Ohio.  Their daughter, Raya ’19 is an Illustration major and could not be happier at MICA.  They also have two sons - Max, a computer engineer in Madison, Wisconsin, and Matthew a freshman at Tufts University.  

Jeff is the founder of Zimon LLC, a boutique ERISA and Employee Benefits and Compensation law firm, headquartered in Cleveland Ohio, Jeff has more than 25 years of experience advising clients on all aspects of employee benefits, and benefits disputes and litigation.  Prior to founding Zimon LLC, Jeff was a partner and Chair of the Employee Benefits and ERISA Litigation Group at a large regional law firm. Jeff has represented businesses including Fortune 500 companies, and many others, in a diverse range of industries and in virtually all aspects of employee benefits and compensation matters.  

Jeff is a frequent speaker at national and regional forums on various matters related to ERISA and employee benefits.  He is honored to be recognized in Martindale-Hubbell (AV Rating), Chambers and Partners, Best Lawyers of America, and Jeff was recently recognized as a Top 100 Ohio Super Lawyer.  

Jeff is honored to participate in various charitable activities, including serving as Co-Chair with Jill of the MICA Parent’s Council, the Board of Directors of the United Way of Cleveland, the Board of the Prayers for Maria Childhood Glioma Foundation, and as a member of the Retirement Committee of the Jewish Federation of Cleveland.

When Jeff is not actively engaged in one of the above activities, you will find him enjoying travel, piano, or fixing, repairing or maintaining just about anything around the house.
