Her consistent path in HR began at Harvard University (Law School) and took her to Dartmouth College, Academy for Higher Education (FHI 360), Johns Hopkins University (School of Advanced International Studies), Phillips Exeter Academy, Bates College, and national consultancy work.
Hines takes pride in creating client-centered HR service models, supporting workplace performance, improving organizational effectiveness, managing costs, and building inclusive and equitable work and learning communities. Adept at creative problem solving and strategic planning, she is a conscientious and informed risk taker with demonstrated ability to lobby for, negotiate, and lead change. The thorough MICA search process has verified her reputation for integrity, fairness, professionalism, building collaborative relationships, and bringing diverse viewpoints to a productive consensus. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, Accounting, from Howard University, and has completed graduate courses in HR Management & Organizational Development at both The George Washington University and Harvard University. Hines spends time with family and friends, traveling, cooking, collecting limited edition African and African-American Art, Bikram yoga, swimming, reading, and Sudoku puzzles in her leisure time.
