Daniel comes to MICA with a wealth of experience in financial and operational leadership, most recently serving as the Executive Fellow in Residence at Johns Hopkins University. Prior to that, as the Chief Financial and Operating Officer and Treasurer at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, he managed a significant endowment and oversaw comprehensive budgeting, investment in data management, and innovative people and culture initiatives. His tenure as Senior Associate Dean for Finance and Administration at the Krieger School of Arts and Sciences at Johns Hopkins University further exemplifies his capability to drive financial strategy and administration in an academic setting.
