"As an international student at Rinehart constantly encountering cultural differences in the U.S., a lot of things felt unnatural to me at first. Through talking with peers at Rinehart I learned about some of the things that others take for granted, what they might neglect or can't even see. These things became obvious to me. Now, I am making art based on these blind spots in order to expose the illusions and prejudices they may contain and encourage people to take a second look."
