MICA is live on Workday! Please log into Workday using your MICA account and complete the Launch Checklist. You can bookmark the Workday link and you can also navigate to Workday through the myMICA Portal.
TimeForce will be MICA’s timekeeping and leave request system through June 12. Starting on June 13, non-exempt and student employees will begin to clock in/out using Workday.
- All pending leave requests in TimeForce for both exempt and non-exempt (hourly) employees must be approved or denied in TimeForce no later than June 12. If there are any pending requests as of June 13, Payroll will approve all pending requests and all of that approved leave data will be transferred to Workday.
- Absences and Time Off Balances (i.e., sick, vacation, personal) will be migrated to Workday the week of June 17. Balances will NOT be in Workday until then. Employees will be notified via e-mail when this information is available in Workday.
Managers are responsible for meeting with their team/s to walk them through the employee details of Workday. The Workday website has great information for all MICA employees, including:
Employee Sessions: Additionally, there will be four 30-minute sessions in Falvey Hall that will cover clock in/out instructions, submitting time off requests, updating personal information and basic navigation. After the sessions, managers and employees can enroll in the new biometric timeclocks. Managers will be able to enroll employees in the biometric timeclocks starting on June 10 at the following locations: Gateway, 1501, Bunting, Main and Art/Tech to prepare for June 13.

Go-Live Support Details
1. If you have issues with your MICA account and cannot log into Workday (starting June 10) or if you need assistance with Duo two-factor authentication, please contact the Help Desk, M-F 8:30 am-4:30 pm - help@mica.edu or 410-225-2201.
2.To learn how to clock in/out using Workday through desktop, mobile app or the biometric time clocks, please see your supervisor for assistance or access the job aid on the Workday website.
3. Employees are responsible for checking ALL of their information in Workday and going through the Launch Checklist. If you have any questions or concerns regarding other issues such as: incorrect personal, job, benefits or other information in your Workday profile, please log an issue using this support form.
4. If you are a manager and need assistance with student, staff or faculty recruiting, please contact your Human Resources partner.
