Planning your Student Housing
MICA is surrounded by unique and varied neighborhoods that provide ample off-campus housing -- and limited off-campus housing is available for graduate students as well. We've provided some information below to help you start the research process. Your Graduate Admission Counselor is available to help answer your questions also!
Off-Campus Housing
MICA doesn't have formal relationships with off-campus housing partners, but the Office of Graduate Admission is here to help! Download our off-campus housing and neighborhood guide to start exploring.
About 95% of MICA's graduate community chooses to live off campus. To connect with other incoming students or current students to chat about housing, be sure to join our Discord server as well.
On-Campus Housing
The Office of Graduate Admission partners with the Office of Residence Life to work with students that prefer to live on-campus. The housing application will open on April 3, 2023 for the 2023-24 academic year.
We host graduate students primarily in the Mount Royal Apartments, renovated spaces on Mount Royal Avenue that house two students per unit (with private bedrooms).
Due to limited space on-campus, we recommend applying for on-campus housing as soon as possible.
