When and where will the Master Guild Exhibition Take Place?
The Master Guild Exhibition will extend beyond MICA Weekend (September 27 - September 28). The Exhibition will be open to the public from September 21 through to October 6, 2024. The Exhibition will take place on the MICA campus at Meyerhoff Gallery, Fox Building.
When will the brunch take place for the Master Guild?
The brunch for the Master Guild will take place during MICA Weekend on Saturday, September, 28, 2024. Further details about the reception location will be shared close to the time.
Who can participate in the Master Guild Exhibition?
The exhibition is open to the Class of 1974 and prior.
How many pieces will be there in the Exhibition?
Due to space constraints, we are limiting the Master Guild Exhibition to 75 pieces this year. The first 75 alumni to submit will be included, so please get your submissions in early to avoid disappointment!
What kind of art can we submit?
We are accepting 2D, 3D, and video for the exhibition.
What are the size requirements for the Master Guild Exhibition?
The maximum size of individual pieces is 20 x 24 inches.
How should we prepare work for display?
All 2D work should be “hang ready” in a frame with hanging wire assembled. Video submission will be shown on small monitors in the gallery.

When is the deadline to complete a submission form?
The deadline to complete a submission form is Friday, August 1. We will close the submissions when we reach artwork capacity
When is the deadline to deliver my artwork?
The deadline to deliver your artwork is Monday, September 2.
How do I deliver my artwork?
You can drop off your packed art to the Annex Building on the MICA campus. Please email Mansoor Ali at mali01@mica.edu to coordinate the drop-off window. Artwork should be in protective wrapping labelled with the artist's name. We will not accept your art if it is not wrapped and/or boxed.

If mailing, we require that you use UPS or FEDEX and include return postage. MICA will repack your artwork using the original packing and apply the included prepaid return shipping label.

You can submit up to 1 piece of artwork
If I did not submit my artwork for the Master Guild Exhibition, can I still attend the brunch?
Of course! The exhibition is open to all and you are more than welcome to attend and view the exhibition while it is up from September 21 through to October 6. Regardless if you submit your piece of art for the exhibition, you are invited to attend the brunch on Saturday, September 28 to celebrate 50 years plus of being a MICA graduate!
