Statement

My sculptures and installations are visual narratives of my daily observations of the world. Made up of such materials as newspapers, packages, and metal nets, they evoke viewers’ feelings about the familiar and unfamiliar essence of phenomena. Important elements in my work are light’s reflection and transparency, its shadows caused by rough surfaces, and the fragility, purity, and lightness of abstract shapes. It’s important to me that viewers embrace their own interpretations of my work, which I make in the spirit of passing a ball to others and seeing what happens.
