Statement
Sophie's illustrations include a range of textures and color palettes that capture different atmospheres, fragments, memories and dreams.
She often finds inspiration from her poem and journals. She loved and is deeply inspired by the Impressionism, and she uses both traditional and digital media to create different visual messages.
In the two series, 'The Lake House' and 'Can We Still Dream like this In Our Next Life', Sophie creates short narratives and surreal environments to recreate some of her thoughts and dreams, at the same time, to settle and heal some of the conflicts and fear within herself.
