Statement
'A Cart's Journey & Those Who Push It,' is a 2D animated film that focuses on a suddenly lost grocery store shopping cart that is found and used by different groups of people around a city. Normally used when shopping, what awaits a single cart when it is pushed way beyond grocery store grounds?
Being able to instill life into mundane objects is what drove my enthusiasm for this project. The goal of the film was to think about the kind of stories shopping carts that are abandoned on the side of streets, rivers, or parks can have. What led them to be where they are now & what more can happen once they are found?
