Ajay Kurian (born 1984, Baltimore, MD) is a multimedia artist whose work has been exhibited internationally.

Dealing with the mythologies of American life, Kurian has established a multifaceted practice that engages with race, nature and the intersection of the personal and the social. Unbound by any material fidelity, his practice utilizes all the body's senses towards an understanding of sculpture that provides a phenomenology without a universal or ideal body. His work has been included in several museum and galleries world wide such as the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Øregaard Museum, Copenhagen, Antenna Space, Shanghai, La Panacée, Montpelier, MoMA PS1, 47 Canal. He most recently premiered a solo exhibition at Sies+Höke in Düsseldorf, Germany.
