Originally from Wisconsin, he graduated from MICA in 2000 with a BFA in Graphic Design, concentrations in Video and Book Arts and interned with David Ashton and Pentagram. After 4 years of working for the man, he started his own independent business, Make Things Studio™, and has had the opportunity to work for local, passionate business owners, larger institutions and some famous people. Mr. Kutil teaches his courses with a focus on interactive design and the business side of design. He also makes really good pizza, loves cast iron, and can do the “brrr” dance routine from “Bring It On” from memory.
