Program Overview
The Architectural Design Studio Concentration will introduce you to architectural representation and analytic techniques, the design process and the development of rigorous design strategies. Learn how to work with restrictive design elements such as the body, site, program, light, air, materials, structures, and building methods.
Here are a few things to keep in mind:
- The concentration consists of 15 credits.
- Nine of those credits will be earned in the core design studios. The core studio work is the need-to-know information.
- We want to be sure students come away from the program with maximum variety. We've created a few limitations on the number of courses within a given area to be sure students are exposed to a range of experiences within their concentration.
