Alt-J @ MICA

Alt J @ MICA aims to raise awareness and provide perspective regarding cultural and political Jewish issues in the modern world, as well as offer peer-to-peer discussion and solutions on difficult topics like being LGBTQIA+ in a Jewish home, mixed religion dating, addressing antisemitism, and approaching the complex ethics surrounding the state of Israel. This group serves as a forum to break bread over becoming a better social activist and ally and is open to all.

MICA Political Engagement Club

MPEC is MICA's student org that focuses on political engagement, organization, and activism. We use advocacy, activism, education, and voter registration to activate MICA's student body and community to engage politically on relevant issues!

NAMI at MICA aims to raise awareness about mental health issues, build a supportive environment for recovery, provide information about resources both on & off campus, and remove the stigma surrounding mental illness. We exist to improve care on campus and to change the conversation about mental health at MICA and in the community.

Students of Sustainability

Students of Sustainability's mission is to bring awareness and help the community and MICA be a sustainable and eco-friendly environment. The club organizes programs on campus to encourage individual and community-wide earth-friendly practices.
