Cosplay Club

To foster community and development of costume fabrication through sharing knowledge and showcasing craftsmanship while forming connections at events in the Baltimore/DC area.

DIY Club

DIY Club aims to create a space where students can learn from each other and raise funds for causes they care about. Inspired by punk DIY spaces, the club will be hosting weekly demos on a variety of topics for the MICA community. Particular focus will be put towards cost effectiveness, fundraising, and art as a tool for political change.

MICA Writing Collective

Our goal is to provide an inclusive and motivating space to write and openly discuss the writing process. All types of writing (fiction, nonfiction, poetry, scripts, etc.) are welcome!

Sequential Arts Club

We aim to spread and promote appreciation of sequential arts as an art form. We also aim to provide resources and produce student-made sequential publications. We encourage and critique each others' work, as well as produce several zines and anthologies of our work over the course of the year.

The Guild

This is an organization for students to hang out and play various traditional and role playing games including Dungeons & Dragons, Magic the Gathering, Pirates, Heroclix, Pokemon and others. We occasionally plan a trip to the Renaissance Festival, along with regular Magic drafts and play tests for both new and familiar games.

League of Legends Club

MICA League of Legends Club provides a safe and welcoming environment for students to unwind from academics, practice teamwork, and form lasting bonds through the video game League of Legends. It will provide an opportunity for students to connect with each other and build an inclusive community within MICA. Not only that, it's a great way to relieve stress but just have a fun time!

The Pokemon League

This group is here to bring MICA students together to interact with others who love the game and franchise.

Not So Starving Artists

This club teaches students to cook for themselves while also teaching members about different foods and cultures. We are a great group to meet friends and learn a new skill!

SuperSmash Brothers Club

This group is dedicated to Super Smash Brothers game series. We play Smash Bros, promote competitive play and have fun! From competitive to casual, we welcome all Smash Bros enthusiasts.
