Upper-class students have unique needs and bring distinct value to the campus community. With the beginning of the sophomore residential requirement in fall 2014 and an additional 150 beds for juniors and seniors, the upper-class residential community is a robust, vibrant place for students immersed in their departments to explore interdisciplinary, learn from their peers and be a part of a unique form of artistic residential collaboration.

Residence Life staff can assist you in taking full advantage of all the resources MICA offers. For students returning to campus we encourage you to use the information available to explore residential communities that you may not already be familiar with. Each of our residence hall is unique in architectural style and personality and offers different amenities for your unique tastes.

As a final note, there is a process for students that have a need to request an exemption from the MICA residential requirement due to financial concerns or other significant factors. Information for our Contract Release Process can be found here.

If you have additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact us in the Office of Residence Life at 410-225-2398 or at residencelife@mica.edu.
