Eric A. Jordahl

Eric A. Jordahl has been a member of MICA's Board of Trustees since 2016.

He is a managing director of Kaufman Hall and is head of the firm's Treasury and Capital Markets practice. This practice focuses on assisting clients nationwide across a range of financing and Treasury management activities, including: credit positioning, best practice treasury operations, structuring and executing debt-interest rate swap transactions, oversight of investing activities and financial risk management. Since joining Kaufman Hall in 2004, Jordahl has worked with organizations of all sizes and levels of sophistication. During his tenure at the firm, Kaufman Hall has consistently ranked as the top financial advisor to healthcare issuers. In addition to his client work, he writes and speaks on a range of treasury management topics.

Jordahl has supported MICA's Annual Fund general scholarships. He made his first gift when his son, Caleb, entered MICA as a freshman. Caleb is now in the second semester of his junior year and is a painting major.

He and his wife, Laura, have lived in Chicago since 1990. They actively support a wide range of community organizations, with a particular interest in those that address the issues of food and shelter. They also have a particular fondness for the Chicago Cubs baseball team and will remain grateful for 2016 for a very, very long time.

Jordahl received a B.A., cum laude, in Government from Harvard College.
