Application Procedures

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.

The M.P.S. in UX looks to enroll students who have recently completed their undergraduate degree as well as professionals preparing to shift careers. Ideal candidates have an undergraduate degree or a robust professional background in a visual art/design discipline coupled with a strong interest in leveraging their technical skills and creative abilities to increase their competitive advantage in the field of user experience design.

7. Additional Requirements for International Applicants

International candidates whose primary language is not English must demonstrate proficiency in both written and spoken English. Additionally, certified translations of all letters of reference, transcripts and school documentation must be provided. For additional information on international applicant requirements, please visit Information for International Graduate Applicants.

*The portfolio is an optional, but important component of the application package. We admit students from a wide range of academic and professional backgrounds, and utilize the portfolio to access the applicant’s ability to create, solve, and produce. Often, an exceptional portfolio can offset a lower G.P.A. or less work experience. Please note we do not have a specific portfolio format in mind, and encourage applicants to submit any and all deliverables that demonstrate creativity, problem-solving aptitude and attention to detail. Those without a portfolio are still encouraged to apply, as a large portion of the curriculum is dedicated to building or enhancing each student’s portfolio.
