Jason Mathews Gottlieb

Jason Mathews Gottlieb received a BFA in Graphic Design + Digital Media from the Corcoran College of Art + Design, and an MFA in Graphic Design from the Maryland Institute College of Art.

He has worked as a print, interactive, and motion designer at numerous top firms in the DC metropolitan area and also as a photographer and editorial illustrator for magazines including Popular Mechanics and Scratch. Jason is an avid programmer and technophile with a love for story telling, humor, and the absurd. He recently founded Studio JMG, LLC, a multidisciplinary design studio currently developing Eat YourselfTM  a hilarious and mesmerizing mobile game about a self-cannibalistic pig named Pinky. Jason's work has been recognized by Communication Arts, Print, Step, GD, Graphis, AIGA, ADCMW, Adobe, and Core 77. Jason has taught as Adjunct Faculty at The Corcoran College of Art + Design, Johns Hopkins' Department of Art as Applied to Medicine, and the Maryland Institute College of Art, where he has taught in the Graphic Design, Post Baccalaureate Graphic Design, and Interactive Arts departments. Jason is also the recipient of the 2014 George Bunting Teaching Fellowship, and will be teaching as a full time faculty in the upcoming school year.
