Jennine Stankiewicz, Director
Jennine Stankiewicz joins us from The Art Institutes where she held multiple roles, most recently serving as the institutional director of career services. Her career in education began with the public school system in Glendale, Arizona, where she was a teacher, an academic achievement advisor and worked in curriculum development. Jennine received a Bachelor of Science in education from Temple University, a Master of Education from Arizona State University and a Master of Business Administration from Argosy University.
Marsha Lynn Hammond, ’ 98 Sculpture & ’ 99 M.A.T.
Assistant Director for Design and Media
Marsha Lynn Hammond joined the staff in 2011 as the assistant director for design and media. She assists students with applying for jobs and internships in a variety of fields as well as preparing students for successful careers in the arts. She came to us from MICA’s Office of Undergraduate Admission where she worked for 11 years as an admission counselor, coordinator of international admission and most recently director of admission. An artist herself, Marsha is an alumna of MICA, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in sculpture ’98 and
Jackie Milad, Assistant Director for Fine Art
Jackie Milad is a practicing visual artist and independent curator based in Baltimore City. She began her curatorial career as the co-founder of the Transmodern Festival, an artist-run performance art
Kristen Carroll, Assistant Director for Employer Relations
Kristen Carroll brings a range of experience in nonprofit administration, community arts, and fundraising to her role as assistant director for employer relations. She holds a B.A. in communication from the University of Maryland, College Park, and an M.A. in art history from Towson University. Kristen previously worked at MICA for five years, most recently as the assistant director of community arts in the Student Activities Office. Kristen loves yoga, camping, her sweet pup Bailey and gluten-free, vegan food!
Stephanie Chin, Assistant Director for Entrepreneurship
Stephanie brings a unique mix of business incubation and higher education experience to MICA as the assistant director of entrepreneurship. Stephanie is an alumna of Towson University with a Bachelor of Science in business administration, concentration in international business, and a Spanish language minor. In her former role as program manager of the Towson Incubator, Stephanie organized educational initiatives and the annual Business Plan Competition. She is committed to entrepreneurship and also served as a specialist with Towson’s Student Launch Pad where she supported programming and provided one on one advising to student entrepreneurs.
Meagan Zink Denham ’ 05, Program Coordinator
Born and raised in Baltimore, Meagan Zink Denham ’05 received her B.F.A. in general fine arts from MICA
Erin Treacy, Fulbright Program Advisor and Jack Kent Cooke Adviser
Erin Treacy comes to us from New York City, receiving her B.F.A. in painting from Pratt Institute and her M.F.A. from UMASS Dartmouth. She recently returned from Ireland after living there for two years. Erin applied at-large for a Fulbright to the west coast of Ireland to complete visual research in the unique environment of The Burren. She is now sharing her success and advice with our students and alumni. Being exposed to a wide variety of landscape fuels Erin’s creativity. In addition to her own excursions, she has been fortunate to participate in numerous artist symposiums and residencies throughout Europe.
