Friday
Be an art student for a day! Selected faculty invite parents into their classrooms,or you can arrange with your student to join them for a class. Friday evening you can have dinner at one of our great Baltimore restaurants and enjoy the sights, sounds, and energy of our city. We will have a free shuttle to help transport families to Hampden – a quaint and eclectic neighborhood near campus.
Saturday
Attend sessions designed to help you learn about the education of the artist at MICA, and classes that let you experience it yourself. You will also get the opportunity to chat with faculty members and campus representatives about the MICA experience and get answers to your most pressing questions.
Sunday
Sunday is a low-key day so you can spend the last few hours with your student. Meyerhoff House will be open for brunch, or you can take your student out to brunch at one of many area brunch restaurants. We will also have a free shuttle that will take families and their students to the Inner Harbor.
