The Alfred and Trafford Klots International Program for Artists invites applications from practicing visual artists who are not enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at the time of application.
Required Application Material (see Application Form for details)
- A letter of intent
- An up-to-date resume
- 12 de-identified JPEG images of representative work (artists who wish to submit video must contact the program directors in advance of the submission deadline)
- Any application that includes images containing information that identifies the artist will be rejected without consideration
Deadlines
Applications for individual artists or artist-couples are due no later than 11:59 pm Eastern Standard Time February 1, 2019. Successful applicants will be notified by March 1, 2019 and must accept the award by March 15, 2019.
Application Process
Each applicant must submit the Application Form, regardless of individual artist or artist-couple application status.
Letters of recommendation may be requested during the application process. Please do not submit any reference letters unless asked.
There is no application fee.
